Overview

Exploring the New China Food Safety Law – Compliance and Standards

Following years of food incidents, Chinese Government has finally brought up the strictest food safety regulations - the amended Food Safety Law of People’s Republic of China (“China Food Safety Law”) on 1 Oct 2015 to strengthen the integrity of the industry and build consumer confidence, in which safety and traceability is at  top priority.

With enthusiastic response from the industry, GS1 Hong Kong re-runs the seminar with CMA Testing and Certification Laboratories on 15 April 2016 upon the amended Food Safety Law – themed “Exploring the New China Food Safety Law – Compliance and Standards”. To understand the amendment and the compliance when entering the China market, experts from China Law Society will share the regulation updates and compliance requirements; whilst other speakers will share the implementation strategies of global traceability standards to enhance food safety and visibility from farm to fork and the labeling system and testing fulfillment.
