Hong Kong RFID Awards 2013, bolstering the innovative adoption of RFID technology

Hong Kong – September 12, 2013 – As the HKSAR’s premier RFID award, Hong Kong RFID Awards has received close to 200 entries since its inception in 2008. Hong Kong RFID Awards is an annual industry event designed to honor and recognize local companies that have demonstrated excellence in the innovation, development or implementation of RFID technology that creates value for business and life.
Hong Kong businesses showcased the innovative adoption of RFID technology by taking Gold, Silver and Bronze prizes. A variety of winners from public utilities, logistics, apparel, to electronics and retail sectors demonstrated excellence in three categories; namely the Best EPC/RFID implementation, the Most Innovative Use of EPC/RFID and the Most Innovative EPC/RFID products.

The top performers of Hong Kong RFID Awards 2013 have their innovative and technical excellence acknowledged cross-border. Winners from the business category won 4 top prizes at the Guangdong-Hong Kong RFID Awards 2013, while the winners from U-21 RFID Awards 2013 were nominated for HK-TW EPC/RFID Academia Awards 2013.
