Latest China Food Safety Law Updates - Challenges or Opportunities?
Following years of food incidents, Chinese Government has finally brought up the strictest food safety regulations - the amended Food Safety Law of People’s Republic of China (“China Food Safety Law”) on 1 Oct 2015 to strengthen the integrity of the industry and build consumer confidence, in which safety and traceability is at top priority.
To understand the amended Food Safety Law, as well as challenges and opportunities in the industry, GS1 Hong Kong organises a half-day seminar "Latest China Food Safety Law Updates - Challenges or Opportunities?" on 26 January 2016, and have invited experts from China Law Society and Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency to share about the regulation amendments and importance of safety and traceability from farm to table; implementation of global traceability standards and strategies in food supply chain; and how food safety management system helps to achieve traceability.
