Dr Hong FUNG is the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the CUHK Medical Centre (CUHKMC). CUHKMC is the private teaching hospital wholly owned by The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK).

Dr FUNG is also Professor of Practice in Health Services Management at the Jockey Club School of Public Health & Primary Care, CUHK, where he teaches health services planning, healthcare innovation and technology management, healthcare financing, communications and marketing, and decision making in the School’s master and leadership programs.

Renaud de Barbuat was appointed President and CEO of GS1 on 1 July 2022. He joined GS1 in 2019 as Chief Operating Officer, leading the implementation of the 3 Year Plan, the Industry & Product global programmes and the modernisation of the GS1 Registry Platform. He chairs the GS1 GDSN (Global Data Synchronisation Network) Board, the world's largest product data network.

Renaud served as Chief Information Officer at CARREFOUR (2015-2019), leading a profound omni-channel digital transformation to support the growth of e-commerce, driving efficiencies in sourcing, supply chain and store operations. He leveraged the use of big data, cloud and blockchain technologies at scale, the deployment of agile methods and a data-centric strategy using GS1 standards.

Representing Carrefour in GS1, Renaud served as board member for GS1 France and GS1 Global and was elected Vice-Chairman of the GS1 Global Management Board in 2018.

As Chief Information Officer at THALES (Aerospace and Defence) between 2008 and 2013, Renaud implemented a worldwide IT simplification program, supporting the roll-out of business best-practices and improving engineering methods.
Between 2002 and 2008, Renaud was Group CIO at EDF, preparing the business for a deregulated market and supporting EDF IPO.

Géraldine Lissalde-Bonnet leads GS1 Healthcare at GS1 Global Office. She works with her colleagues across the world to enhance patient safety and supply chain efficiencies globally through GS1 standards for AIDC (Automatic Identification and Data Capture), data synchronisation and traceability.

GS1 Healthcare is formed by stakeholders in the healthcare supply chain worldwide, including pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturer, wholesaler/distributor, group purchasing organisations, hospitals, pharmacies, logistic providers, governmental and regulatory bodies and associations.

A lawyer by training, Géraldine led for ten years the GS1 Healthcare Global Public Policy Work Team. She has sound experience in interacting with decision makers globally and in providing strategic leadership on the harmonised use of GS1 standards in the healthcare sector. 

Géraldine is Vice-Chair of the Fight the Fake Alliance.

Géraldine started her career in the private sector, complemented by several years in the European Commission, in the Directorate-General for Health and Consumers. 
 

Anna has more than 30 years of CEO experience in steering the strategic direction of the organisation, spearheading major strategic innovative initiatives that have revolutionized the way companies do business locally and globally, helping HK business community thrive.

She has led GS1 Hong Kong to establish platforms, ecosystems and programmes that have driven industry adoption of global supply chain standards, practices and technologies to enhance business efficiency, facilitate digital commerce, drive IoT development and enable sustainable value chain across industries.

In fostering a collaborative ecosystem, Ms Lin holds a number of appointments in both government and local industry organizations as well as regional organisations, including:

Ms Lin is a native of Hong Kong. She holds an MBA in Strategic Management from the University of Birmingham United Kingdom.

Andrew joined Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in 2017 following his role as IT Programme Director at a major London acute.  Andrew has over 25 years’ experience working in the health, Local Authority, HMP and private sectors, including overseas. Andrew is a graduate of the Oxford Said Executive Leadership programme, has a master’s degree in ‘Healthcare Informatics’ specialising in education and former Chair of the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Integrated Care System (ICS) Digital Enabling Group.  

Andrew leads a multi-award-winning digital team, is a thought leader, frequent keynote presenter and has several publications. Andrew is a CHIME Certified Healthcare Chief Information Officer (CHCIO), a Fellow of the British Computer Society (BCS) and Leading Practitioner in the Federation of Informatics Professionals (FedIP).  Andrew is a member of the National GS1 UK Health

Advisory Board and was recognised in the CIO UK 100 in 2022 and 2023 while also making the global forum CIO 200 in the same year and again in 2024. He also came 16th in World 100 CIO from Marlow Business School in 2024.
 

Brandi McGrady is has recently begun her tenure as the Deputy Country Director of United States Food and Drug Administration’s China Office. Brandi has spent fifteen years with the USFDA conducting high profile inspections both domestically and abroad, responding to foodborne emergencies, and managing highly skilled teams of Investigators. Most recently Brandi served as Branch Chief in the Office of Regulatory Affairs (ORA), Domestic Human and Animal Food Operations (DDHAFO), Produce Safety Network (PSN). There she worked exclusively on the successful development of the Produce Safety Network and the implementation and enforcement of the Produce Safety Rule. 
 
Academically, Brandi holds master’s degrees in both Business Administration from Anderson University and Public Health with an emphasis in Emergency Management from American Public University. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science with a secondary emphasis in Chemistry from Grand Valley State University. As a confident leader Brandi uses enthusiasm, technical expertise, and a passion for relationship building to accomplish agency goals most effectively and to promote public health.
